OGGI IN ITALIA is an introductory Italian program featuring a balanced four-skills approach to language learning. OGGI includes various perspectives of Italian culture, ranging from its rich, historical legacy, to current changes affecting the country and culture. This allows students to practice the basics of the language and develop oral communication skills in a variety of contexts while learning about contemporary Italian life and culture. The enhanced edition provides additional cultural content through the new “Viaggi in video” sections, which allow students to explore different regions of Italy. Authentic Italian videos (accessible on iLrn and DVD) are accompanied by activities that engage students, guide them through the viewing experience, and provide opportunities for expansion through the iLrn Share It! feature.
