Go to Cengage.ca/student and search for your eTextbook. You can search by author, title or ISBN (10 or 13-digit number that identifies your exact book/eTextbook/online learning platform).
Check the ISBN, author, title, and edition to ensure you have selected the correct eTextbook. Select the access length you need and click Add to Cart.
If that’s all you’ll be purchasing today, confirm again that it is the correct eTextbook and click ‘Checkout’.
Before completing your purchase, you will be asked to sign in and/or create your Cengage account.
*You might already have a Cengage account if you’ve used MindTap, CengageNOWv2, OWLv2, SAM, WebAssign or another Cengage platform in a different course.
New to Cengage? Click “Create Student Account” and register. We recommend using your school email.
To verify your account, open the ‘Welcome to Cengage’ email you just received and click ‘Activate Cengage Account’ to set your password and complete the registration process. Be sure to use the same device and browser to create and verify your account.
Enter in your billing and payment information to complete purchase.
Cengage.ca accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Debit as well as International credit cards.

When your screen refreshes to the student dashboard, find the cover of your and click the “Supplemental Materials” button. In the drop-down menu, click “eTextbook”.
Ensure that pop-ups and third-party cookies are enabled as all of Cengage’s digital resources open in a new tab or window. This guide will walk you through the steps to do this for your internet browser.
