How to Register for WebAssign

Access Your Cengage Account

Go to login.cengage.com. If you already have a Cengage account, log in now. Click “Need help signing in?” if you have forgotten your password.

*You might already have a Cengage account if you’ve used MindTap, CengageNOWv2, OWLv2, SAM, WebAssign or another Cengage platform in a different course.

New to Cengage? Click “Create Student Account” and register. We recommend using your school email.

To verify your account, open the ‘Welcome to Cengage’ email you just received and click ‘Activate Cengage Account’ to set your password and complete the registration process. Be sure to use the same device and browser to create and verify your account.

Enroll in Your Course

Your screen will refresh to open your student dashboard. Click the blue hyper link “Enter Access Code or Course Key” and enter in your course key. EXAMPLE: ABCD-1234-WXYZ

Don’t have a course key? Talk to your instructor.

If your instructor gave you a course registration link, you can use that as well.

Access Your Course Materials

Click on your course to get started.

You have three options for entering your course:

Not ready to purchase? Click “Continue with Temporary Access”
- Temporary access is available for a limited time after the start date of your course. Once your Temporary Access expires, you will need to make a purchase decision to continue.
Click “Buy Now” to purchase access to the materials you’ll need for this course from Cengage.ca
If you already purchased access, click “Enter Access Code.”
- *If you purchased from Cengage.ca, you will not receive an access code – it will automatically be applied to your account.
