How to access MindTap

You can access the MindTap for your course two ways – using a course key or using a course link.

COURSE KEY:
Sign in to your Cengage content dashboard and click on ‘Register another course or product’ at the top of the page, then enter the course key provided by your instructor. Don’t have a course key? Reach out to your instructor to request it.

COURSE LINK:
If your instructor gave you a course link, you can use that instead. Don’t have a course link? Reach out to your instructor to request it.

Before you start using MindTap

Before you start studying with MindTap, run a quick system check of your computer to ensure you have everything you need to access and use this platform. Click here to run the system check: ng.cengage.com/static/browsercheck/

Your MindTap free trial

You’re able to try before you buy! Get free access to MindTap for 14 days before you buy it. To unlock your free trial, follow the steps in ‘How to Unlock MindTap’ below.

How to unlock MindTap

1. Course link: Click on your course link. If you already have a Cengage account, enter your username and password. Or simply create a Cengage account
   Course key: Sign in to your Cengage account or create a Cengage account. Go to your Cengage content dashboard and click on ‘Register another course or product’ at the top of the page, then enter the course key provided by your instructor
2. Choose to buy now or get temporary access. If you have purchased a print textbook, enter the access code that is packaged with your textbook. Please note, if you select temporary access you will be able to use your MindTap free of charge for 14 days
3. Get 10% OFF at the checkout by using the discount code provided by your instructor. Don’t have a discount code? Ask your instructor for one
4. To get back into your MindTap course go to Cengage.com and log in. You’ll be taken to My Home where you can access your MindTap course and any other Cengage resources

How to unlock MindTap in Your LMS

1. Head to your campus Learning Management System (LMS) homepage and log in
2. Click on any link to Cengage MindTap content* to continue the registration process
3. If you already have a Cengage account, enter your username and password. Or simply create a Cengage account
4. Choose buy now or get temporary access. Please note, if you select temporary access you will be able to use MindTap free of charge for 14 days
5. Get 10% OFF at the checkout by using the discount code provided by your instructor. Don’t have a discount code? Ask your instructor for one
