Mark Ciampa
Dr. Mark Ciampa is a professor of analytics and information systems and the program director of the graduate Cybersecurity Data Analytics program in the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Prior to this, he was an associate professor and served as Director of Academic Computing at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee for 20 years. Mark has worked in the IT industry as a computer consultant for businesses, government agencies and educational institutions. He has published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals and books. He is also the author of over 30 technology textbooks from Cengage, including "Security+ Guide to Network Security Fundamentals," 8e, "CompTIA CySA+ Guide to Cybersecurity Analyst," 3e, "CWNA Guide to Wireless LANs," 3e, "Guide to Wireless Communications," "Security Awareness: Applying Practical Cybersecurity In Your World," 6e and "Networking BASICS." Dr. Ciampa holds a PhD in technology management with a specialization in digital communication systems from Indiana State University and has certifications in security and healthcare.
Jason Eckert
Jason W. Eckert is an experienced technical trainer, consultant, and best-selling author in the information technology (IT) industry. With over three decades of IT experience, 48 industry certifications, four published apps, and 27 published textbooks covering topics such as UNIX, Linux, security, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, PowerShell, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, and video game development, Mr. Eckert brings his expertise to every class that he teaches at triOS College and to his role as the Dean of Technology. He was named the 2019 Outstanding Train-the-Trainer from the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) for his work providing Linux training to other educators. Kenneth A. Lambert
Kenneth A. Lambert is Professor of Computer Science and Head of the Department at Washington and Lee University. He has taught programming language design for 25 years and has been an active researcher in computer science education. Lambert has co-authored a series of introductory C++ textbooks with Douglas Nance and Thomas Naps and a series of introductory Java textbooks with Martin Osborne, and is the author of an introductory Python textbook. He is also the co-creator of the BreezySwing framework and is the creator of the breezypythongui framework.
Jill West
Jill West authors Cengage courses for CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Network+, Data Communications, Technology for Success and the popular Shelly Cashman Series. She has taught kindergarten through college and currently teaches computer technology courses at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. Jill specializes in designing innovative, critical-thinking activities and building courses that teach to popular IT certifications. She regularly presents at conferences and webinars on preparing for CompTIA certifications, teaching cloud computing and computer networking and mentoring lifelong student learners in IT. She’s a member of the 2019 inaugural cohort of Faculty Ambassadors for AWS Educate and is currently an AWS Academy Accredited Educator. Jill and her husband, Mike, live in northwest Georgia with two children at home and two off to college.
