SOC+ 4th Edition by Robert Brym

Overview

SOC+ seamlessly interweaves popular culture with theoretical perspectives and current social issues to paint a vivid picture of the sociological enterprise to 21st century learners, one that is sure to engage, inspire, and inform. This ideal introductory sociology resource employs sociological analyses of media, along with hundreds of popular culture examples, to make complex ideas digestible to students who are new to the discipline. Unlike other resources, SOC+ effectively combines impeccable scholarship with popular cultural references to transform the ways students see the interrelationship between their personal life, their local community, and national and global issues at large.
